Patient Case 1 (Anxiety Disorder)

Female, 40s, Anxiety

Main symptom

• When She appears in public, She feels anxious and nervous.
• (Initially, She started going to the clinic with a stiff neck.)

Other symptoms

• Many dreams
• Hypotension
• Anemia
• Stiff neck
• Scalp stiffness
• Back stiffness
• Frequent urination
• Constipation

Palpation and observations

• Tongue inspection
  • Tongue: Light white
  • Tongue coating: Lots of moss
• Meridian Pulse Diagnosis
  • Heart excessive
  • Pattern: Heart blood deficient, Spleen deficient
• Neck/back muscle tone
• Warm limbs (heat is escaping)

Treatment policy

• Due to dietary restrictions, she became spleen deficient and anemic and was unable to supply the necessary nutrition to her heart (brain).
• Mainly uses the acupuncture points of the spleen meridian to facilitate the absorption of nutrients.
• Loosen the muscles from the neck to the back where you are tense.
• Since there are findings in the adrenal gland, it is presumed that there is stress or inflammation, so loosen that part as well.

Follow-up

• First time: After the treatment, the stiffness of the neck, scalp, and back improved.
• Second time: She felt that her stomach became active and she was hungry.
• 3rd time: The expression became brighter and the voice felt good.
